The 1001 Journal is open for submissions until March 15, 2018.
1001 accepts submissions of poetry, prose, and comics. “The IPRC has included a new certificate track this year that focuses on Image and Text, and we look forward to seeing your work that engages with both word and images. We are also interested in hybrid text, which for our purposes is defined as a piece that breaks with the conventions of poetry, prose, or comics.”
Poetry: Submit 3-5 poems. Prose: Do not submit genre fiction, excerpts from longer works, book reviews, or interviews. Submit one submission only (unless your work is under 400 words). Comics: Submit 1-6 pages. Image and Text: Submit 1-6 pages. For full submission guidelines, please visit their website.
