F(r)iction Fall 2023 Writing Contests
Categories:
– Short stories: 1,001 – 7,500 words
– Flash fiction: up to 1,000 words per piece
– Poetry: up to three pages per poem
Eligibility: Writers must be over the age of 13. We do not accept previously published work. Work must be submitted in English.
Entry fees: $10 – 15
Prizes:
– Short Story: 1st prize receives $1,000
– Flash Fiction: 1st prize receives $300
– Poetry: 1st prize receives $300
*Winners in each category will also receive the opportunity to work with one of our Senior Editors to see their work published either online or in our print journal.
