One Person’s Trash are looking for stories and poems that speak to the realities of homelessness.
“Write about isolation, addiction, and stigma; tell us the things you can’t un-see, but also write about the victories and your many communities of compassion and hope. Tell us your story or your brother’s story or your students’ story or the story of the young woman at the bus stop as you’ve come to understand it and tell them in whatever form you’re most comfortable telling.”
When submitting your work, also send a brief (100 words or less) bio about who you are and what you live for (it is not necessary to include your list of previous publications).
