Creative Writing for Teenagers
Here at The Writing District, we have dedicated creative writing classes for teenagers. These classes will fit in with a student’s daily schedule, as there is no need to be online at any particular time or day. Learners will be able to complete this six-week course at their own pace and at a time that’s convenient. Every student will have weekly notes and assignments, and one of our tutors will give personal written feedback on every assignment you submit. Ultimately, the objective of this class is to enjoy writing and fully immerse yourself in the writing zone, building up all your skills in the process.
Each week looks at a different aspect of writing. For instance, the first week looks at generating story ideas and forming intros to stories. Other weeks focus on creating characters, dialogue and setting – to name just a few examples. Learners will gradually develop their writing skills, and grow in confidence as they’re slowly exposed to more writing techniques and elements as the weeks go on.
