The Muriel Press is an embedded micro-press at Marian University.
The Muriel Press seeks full-length poetry manuscripts (45-90 pages of poetry, excluding front and back matter) with a social justice focus, from writers of the Upper Midwest (Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota). They are particularly interested in outward-focused work, poetry of witness, and work that engages contemporary issues with an interest in justice and transformation.
Open for submissions until June 15, 2018.
The selected manuscript will be developed in collaboration with the author and The Muriel Press. The author will receive 50 copies of the book as honorarium.
