The Poetry Archive is open for submissions until September 10, 2020.
They say, “we want to reflect the strength and diversity of poetry written in this extraordinary year and preserve it for future generations to reach. Record and recite your poetry. Until 10 September 2020, we would love you to make a video/film recording of yourself reading or reciting a single poem you have written.”
They’ll start publishing the poems from April 20th onwards to their Poetry Archive YouTube channel.
After the deadline a panel led by the poet and film-maker Imtiaz Dharker will select their 20 favourite entries for a special Archive Collection for 2020 to be celebrated on the website.
Hundreds of other poets will be published to their YouTube and other channels where they will curate a series of special profiles, poetry festival events and publicly curated collections.
